Priyadarshan who last directed Nimir, the remake of Maheshinte Prathikaaram in Tamil is all set for the direct OTT release of his next. Hungama 2 is his upcoming Bollywood movie starring Paresh Rawal, Shilpa Shetty on Disney Plus Hotstar and the release date of the movie has now confirmed to be July 23, 2021.

A spiritual sequel to Priyadarshan's 2003 hit Hungama, Hungama 2 also stars Meezaan Jaffrey and Pranitha Subhash and marks Priyadarshan's return to Bollywood after Nadodigal's Hindi version Rangrezz in 2013.
