Actors Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu have maintained a strong friendship  and the duo came to be reckoned with after their joint appearance in the 1995 Telugu film Pedarayudu, a remake of the Tamil movie Nattamai.

Over the years, Mohan Babu has spoken highly of Rajinikanth's generosity towards him like how it was Rajini who suggested him to watch Nattamai and remake it, how the actor helped him with Rs. 45 lakhs after Mohan Babu faced losses with his films in the 90s; Mohan Babu has stood by the Superstar even in terms of his political decisions.

Recently, when Rajinikanth was shooting for Annaatthe at Hyderabad, the actor visited Mohan Babu at his residence. Mohan Babu's daughter Lakshmi Manch had previously shared a selfie with Rajini and now Mohan Babu's son Vishnu Manchu has shared photographs of his father and Rajinikanth. 

The images which were captioned 'The OGs. Original Gangsters! @rajinikanth @themohanbabu and then goofy Vishnu Manchu' have since gone viral.
