Valimai producer Boney Kapoor announced a while ago that the Tamil Nadu theater rights for the Ajith starrer has been sold to Raahul of Romeo Pictures and Gopuram Cinemas. Back then we had reported that the deal was closed for a record price, and now it has been revealed that a whopping Rs. 55 Cr. was what it was sold for.

This amount is excluding GST and fans are already predicting if this will lead to an easy break-even or not. Valimai directed by H. Vinoth is 2 weeks away from starting its first leg of promotions and as a starter, the first look of the movie will be unveiled Ajith's 50th birthday i.e. May 1, 2021.

Valimai has Huma Qureshi playing female lead, with Yuvan Shankar Raja for music and Nirav Shah for cinematography.
