Director Sundar.C was recently hospitalized after he tested positive for Coronavirus COVID-19 and though his health condition is currently stable, the director might not be returning to work anytime soon. Sundar. C directed Aranmanai 3 was expected to release in theaters on April 30, 2021 but given the director's current circumstances, he is postponing the movie.

Aranmanai 3 is the third instalment in Sundar.C's popular horror comedy series andit stars Arya, Andreah, Raashi Khanna, Sakshi Agarwal and Yogi Babu among others. The movie is now expected to release in June, 2021.
