Malayalam film actress Aparna Das, who many know from her viral TikTok videos has been roped in to play a character role in Thalapathy 65 (tentative title). The Vijay starrer is Aparna's debut in Tamil, who has already appeared in Malayalam films like Njan Prakashan (2018) and Manoharam (2019).

Thalapathy 65 has begun shooting today but Aparna will be filming her portions in the Nelson Dhilipkumar directorial only in May, 2021. A Sun Pictures production, Thalapathy 65 has Anirudh for music and has Pooja Hegde playing female lead.
