Only recently it was reported that actress Kiara Advani is the front-runner to play female lead in director Shankar's upcoming Telugu movie RC 15. While the actress is yet to be confirmed for that project, recent reports also suggest she is in consideration to play Ranveer Singh's heroine in a movie also to be directed by Shankar. 

Shankar's film with Ranveer Singh is the director's second in Hindi and it is expected to begin in 2022. It is also being said that contrary to popular belief, this movie will not be an explicit remake of Anniyan since Aparichit, its Hindi dubbed version is already popular among the target audience.

Ranveer Singh will play a character suffering from split personality disorder but the story-line is expected to be different.
