Actor Suriya is gearing up to join the sets of Suriya 40 (tentative title) today, his new project with director Pandiraj and Sun Pictures. At this time, it has been revealed that Vinay Rai will be playing villain in the movie and an official announcement on the same is expected sometime soon.

Suriya 40 began shooting sans Suriya owing to the latter's COVID-19 situation. The actor is all fine now and he will be shooting for the rural drama alongside his co-stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Soori among others.
