83, a highly anticipated sports drama centered around the Indian cricket team’s 1983 world cup win has finally gotten a release date. Last night film's lead Ranveer Singh took to twitter to announce that 83 swill release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on 4 June, 2021.

Kamal Haasan is presenting the Tamil version of 83 which also stars Kollywood's very own Jiiva as former Indian cricketer from Tamil Nadu, Krishnamachari 'Kris' Srikanth. Srikanth was 83 world cup's top scorer as he contributed a crucial 38 runs.

83 directed by Kabir Khan and also starring Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani among others will also be releasing in 3D in theaters.
