Vishal's upcoming movie Chakra which is also produced by him, will now release in theater screens in all South Indian languages - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The release date of the movie has been officially updated as February 19, 2021 as opposed to the previous expected date of February 12.

Touted to be an action thriller, Chakra also stars Shraddha Srinath, Regina Cassandra and Shrusti Dange among others and has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music. Debutant M.S. Anandan has directed this movie.
