Among the international countries Vijay's Pongal release Master is releasing in, Japan is one. Recently, it was confirmed that Master will be premiering in Japan on the same date as India i.e. January 13, 2021 and Space Box Japan will be screening the movie in the country. 

Touted to be an action thriller, Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andreah Jeremiah among others and has Anirudh for music.
