Actor Ajith's upcoming movie Valimai may be devoid of official updates but word in the grapevine is that the makers are planning to wrap shooting of this project by February, 2021. Lead actor Ajith who sustained atleast two accidents on the sets filming bike and stunt scenes is said to be wrapping his portions in January, 2021 reportedly by Pongal. 

Valimai is Ajith's second collaboration with director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor and is touted to be a action-cop-drama. It was said at one point that director Vinoth was trying to squeeze in an overseas schedule in this COVID-19 era because of the film's high-end action scenes. However there has been no follow-up to whether or not that is happening.

Valimai has Huma Qureshi playing female lead and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
