It has now been officially announced that Simbu's upcoming film Eeswaran has wrapped after shooting only for 40 days. The actor also took to twitter to confirm that the film's teaser will be released on Diwali day i.e. November 14, 2020. 

Eeswaran directed by Suseenthiran is scheduled for a Pongal 2021 (January) release and the film has Thaman for music. Nidhhi Agerwal, Nandita Sweta and Bharathi Raja play key roles in the movie which has Tirru for cinematography and Antony for edits.
