The shooting of Valimai is currently taking place at Ramoji Rao Film City at Hyderabad and today it was widely reported that Ajith drove from his hotel room to the shooting spot on a bike. The actor had previously injured himself during a bike stunt scene, the healing mark of which could still be seen when he resumed shooting last month. 

It was also recently reported that Valimai director H. Vinoth has decided to stick by overseas shooting schedules because there are crucial scenes in the movie which requires the involvement of international stuntmen. This means Ajith and team will be flying to foreign locations at some point despite the Coronavirus scare.

Additionally, it is being said that Valimai teaser can be expected for Diwali which falls on the 14th of this month; The teaser update awaits official confirmation. Touted to be a cop-action-thriller, Valimai is produced by Boney Kapoor and has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music. Yami Gautam, Ileana D'Cruz and Huma Qureshi will be seen playing female leads in the movie.
