Insider Report: Rajapattai to be delayed?

You read it here first! Rajapattai which was fast progressing has hit the breaks. Rajapattai team was earlier planning to wrap up the song shoots by middle of this month and get the movie completed in time for December 16 release. The release plan is expected to be delayed due to sad demise of Yuvan's mom. 

Director Suseendran is now waiting for Yuvan to deliver 2 more songs before they could release the audio and shoot the songs. Also, Vikram is expected to get busy with Karikalan and Director Vijay's movie after December. Going by the turn of events, Rajapattai may not be able to hit the theatres in December as originally planned. Due to Nanban and a flurry of movies planning to release for Pongal, Rajapattai may end up slipping to February 2012 or later. 

Latest Update : Rajapattai shoot was wrapped up in Chennai yesterday and the crew flying to Italy for two songs and will be back on the 20th. The team is still working very hard to complete the shooting of 2 songs, audio release, editing, re-recording, promotions and release before December 16th... That is quite a tight schedule ahead!
