The official twitter handle of Home Movie Makers, producers of Jayam Ravi's upcoming movie Bhoomi have clarified that the news of the film releasing directly on OTT is false.

A claim was doing the rounds that Bhoomi is gearing up for a direct premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar and Home Movie Makers have now indicated that any development regarding the movie will come directly from them.

It is worth mentioning here that rumours of Bhoomi releasing directly on OTT have been doing the rounds since movie theaters went on a complete shutdown due to the pandemic and Tamil films started taking the digital release route. However it seems like the makers of Bhoomi have not zeroed in a release plan for the movie as yet.
