In this era of Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic where movie theaters remain closed in the state of Tamil Nadu and Tamil films are premiering directly on OTT platforms, Vijay starrer Master is one big Kollywood film which refuses to budge from its traditional way of releasing. 

In addition to the umpteen times, Master producers have stated in the media that they have no plans of leaning towards the OTT route, Lokesh Kanagaraj, director of the movie has now added a statement of his own.

He has confirmed once again that Master will release only when movie theaters re-open and there are no plans whatsoever of premiering the movie on an OTT platform.
