While Aranmanai and Aranmanai 2 had ghosts played by female leads (Hansika and Trisha), looks like director Sundar.C is changing the gender of the spirit for the third part of his horror-comedy franchise. Reportedly actor Arya will be seen playing the ghost in Aranmanai 3 though an official confirmation on the same is awaited. 

Produced by Sun Pictures, Aranmanai 3 also stars actors Vivekh and Yogi Babu in important roles and the movie which had stopped shooting in February this year is expected to resume anytime soon.
