For over 2 years now, the possibility of a collaboration between Vetrimaaran and actor Vijay has been lurking in the Tamil cine news and recently the director confirmed to Vikatan that a team-up in indeed on the cards. Vetrimaaran is lined up with projects like the Suriya starrer Vaadivaasal and an R.S. Infortainment production. 

The director has now revealed that post the completion of those two, he might do a film with Vijay. Vetrimaaran has started working on the script for the said project and if everything falls in place, the National award winner will be helmning the Thalapathy actor for the first time ever.
