Fans of Baahubali actor Prabhas and Bollywood's Deepika Padukone were sent down an excitement wave, when it was officially announced that their favourite stars will be teaming up for the first time. The project, tentatively referred to as Prabhas 21 will be directed by Mahanati (Nadigayar Thilagam) director Nag Ashwin and the film plans to go on floors by April, 2021 [yet to be officially confirmed].

Reportedly, Prabhas 21 will cater to the PAN Indian audience, releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and will be a sci-fi movie set up against the theme of World War 3. Popular Telugu production banner Vyjayanti Movies is producing this film, which is expected to release in 2022, given the COVID-19 situation has subsided by then.
