Over the past few days, Bollywood aka the Hindi film industry has been facing the heat from general netizens after nepotism debates were resparked owing to the unfortunate suicide of a talented actor. Several people working in the Hindi film industry have come out with statements of how Bollywood works as a 'bullying cartel', with some even defending it to be the nature of such a cut-throat industry.

Among these were stories of actors and directors loosing projects because of an individual's vested interests irrespective of how much talent was on display.

Interestingly, Kamal Haasan's name too made it to this list as netizens recalled how in 1984 the Ulaganayagan lost out on a plump project because Amitabh Bachchan felt mid-way during shooting that the movie could do more for Haasan than for him.

The story was outed in a old interview by Tamil director Bhakkiyaraj and the video clipping has now made it to internet's circulation.
