P. Ramesh directed 2014 movie Thegidi which starred Ashok Selvan, Janani Iyer in the lead and Nalan Kumarasamy directed 2013 movie Soodhu Kavvum starring Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha and are all set to get sequels, according to an official update from the movies' production house Thirukumaran Entertainment. 

The update was given during a recent twitter interaction from C.V. Kumar's production house and it has also been announced that the work will begin post the Corona lockdown.
