Dhanush's movie Jagame Thanthiram with Karthick Subbaraj was supposed to release on May 1, 2020 on labour day. But with the novel Coronavirus pandemic still at large and the COVID-19 lockdown likely to get extended, it seems like it will be a while before the movie hits theatre screens.

However, like most Tamil movie makers, it is being said that YNOT productions too will utilize the date for releasing a teaser from the movie instead. An official confirmation on the same is however awaited.

Dhanush plays a ganster in Jagame Thanthiram which also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, James Cosmo and Kalaiyarasan among others.
