Amidst movie business getting affected due to the Corona outbreak in India [and worldwide], the makers of KGF: Chapter 2 announced the release date of the film to be October 23, 2020. The movie which is a sequel to Kannada actor Yash's PAN Indian film KGF, will now meet Rajinikanth's Annaatthe at the box office that month.

KGF 2 also stars Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon among others and is a Prashanth Neel directorial. Srinidhi Shetty and Ramya Krishnan are the other female artistes in this movie.
