Akshay Kumar's upcoming cop drama directed by Rohit Shetty is set to hit the screens on March 24. The Khiladi actor took to his Twitter page to announce the new release date along with a promo video featuring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and himself. The film was initially slated for release on March 27. The film is set to release on March 24 evening at 6 pm and will be screened 24 /7 in Mumbai theatres.

The makers of advanced the release date as its a holiday in Maharasthra on 25th March on the occasion of Gudi Padwa. Sooryavanshi is the fourth installment in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns and Simmba. Katrina Kaif plays the leading lady.

Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will be seen in extended cameo appearances. The film co-stars Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Vivan Bhatena.
