Salman Khan continuing the tradition of releasing films on Eid every year had earlier announced in January that his next film titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will hit the screens for Eid 2021. The film will be directed by Farhad Samji. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala who is bankrolling the project has penned the script as well. The film touted to be an action-packed family drama will go on floors in October this year.

Pooja Hegde of 'Housefull4' fame has been roped in as the leading lady opposite Salman Khan for the first time.  Pooja made her Bollywood debut with 'Mohenjo Daro' which failed to create a mark at the Box Office. In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Nadiawala had said, "Having worked with Pooja in Housefull 4, we felt she was a perfect fit for this film.  She has an amazing screen presence and will make for a good pair with Salman. They will bring freshness to the story.”

Salman Khan is currently busy with the shooting of Radhe directed by Prabhu Deva which is set to hit the screens for Eid 2020.
