One of 2019's biggest Tamil hit films Kaithi, which is an action drama directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is heading to Bollywood for a Hindi remake. It was officially announced recently that Dream Warrior Pictures' S.R. Prabhu will be producing the film in Hindi as well along with Reliance Entertainment.

An official announcement on the casting still awaits while it is being said that Lokesh will be directing the Hindi version as well. Kaithi originally starred Karthi in the lead and was about an ex-convict who is on his way to meet his daughter for the first time but ends up helping an injured cop win a battle against a gang of drug lords.
