Darbar had an excellent start on its opening day in Telugu states Andhra Pradesha and Telangana. The film has grossed Rs. 8 cr and earned a share of Rs. 4.52 cr on its opening day. Darbar's Telugu rights for sold for Rs. 15 cr and the film has already recovered around 30% of its investments for the distributors.

Darbar can enjoy another day of 'solo' run in Telugu states today as it will be competing with Tollywood biggies like Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru and Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which are slated for release on January 11 and January 12 respectively.
