Kamal Haasan may be recuperating from the leg surgery he recently had but team Indian 2 has been carrying on shooting with the rest of the actors, making optimum use of time. Latest in that list is actor Vivek who has begun shooting his portions and will be seen in a key role in the movie [reportedly alongside Bobby Simha].
Next-in line is actress Kajal Aggarwal who will begin her schedule in January, 2020; she plays an 85 year old in the movie and will also appear in flashback portions alongside Haasan.

A few days ago, it was being said that due to Haasan's health condition, the actor who is often seen doing his own stunts requested director Shankar for an action-double. Though it wasn't officially confirmed, a stunt coordinator from Peter Hein's team was reportedly being considered for performing the actor's action scenes.
Indian 2, which is a sequel to Shankar's 1996 hit film Indian is said to focus of main character Senapathy's tyrst with corrupt politics [The prequel saw the vigilante punish corrupt government officers with death]. The film comes with an ensemble of Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani among others and has Anirudh for music.
