Dhanush's 40th film (D40), backed by Y Not Studios was being shot in the UK and now the producer has updated that the 64 day schedule has come to an end. Taking to his microblogging page, Sashikanth of Y Not wrote, "#YNOT18..And that’s a wrap....Longest toughest craziest 64 days of non stop shoot in UK .... done..Thanks to the entire team."

Directed by Karthick Subbaraj, D40 also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kalaiyarasan, Deepak Paramesh and Joju George among others with music by Santhosh Narayanan and cinematography is done by Shreyas Krishna.The movie is touted to be a gangster-thriller and is yet to receive its official title.
