Vijay's Bigil which released in Telugu as Whistle has achieved break-even mark in AP / TG at the end of 10 days. Whistle which has grossed Rs. 18+ cr in Telugu states has earned a share of approximately Rs. 10 cr. The film's theatrical rights were sold for Rs. 10 cr. 

Vijay has scored a hat-trick at the Telugu box office with his latest release Whistle. His previous releases Sarkar and Mersal have turned out to be profitable ventures in these states as well.  

Karthi's Kaithi which released in Telugu as Kaidih is continuing its strong hold and performing very well in these regions. The film has made a gross of Rs. 10+ cr and earned a share of around Rs. 6 cr in 10 days.
