Shankar directed Indian 2 which will see Kamal Haasan return as the vigilante 'Senapathi' is currently being filmed in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh and latest addition to the team is actor George Mariyan who recently swoop all the laurels for his impressive portrayal in Kaithi. Kamal Haasan has been shooting in his get-up of a 90 year old since last week and it is only but interesting to see what role Mariyan would be playing alongside him. 

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn who supposedly plays villain in Indian 2 is also reported to have joined the team in their current Gwalior schedule, where they will be filming for the next 12 days. It is also being widely reported that actress Kajal Aggarwal will be seen playing a 85 year old in the movie, presumably Senapathi's love interest. 

Indian 2 is produced by Lyca Productions and recently the team completed a schedule in Bhopal, where crucial action scenes involving 2000 people was choreographed by stunt master Peter Hein. The movie has Anirudh for music and also stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Vidyut Jamwal and Priya Bhavani Shankar among others.
