Vijay's Bigil which hit the screens worldwide on October 25 has stormed the box office worldwide with "fantastic numbers in its opening weekend. UK is definitely one of the territories where Vijay continues to reign with most of his films performing well in the country. His recent release Bigil is no exception and has raked in £375,089 (Rs. 3.4 cr) in 3 days.

The film has recorded the the third-highest opening weekend of all time. Vijay has five films  namely Sarkar, Bigil, Mersal, Theri and Kaththi to his credit in the Top 10 list followed by Rajinikanth who has four of his films lined up in the list. Bigil has grossed over Rs. 100 cr at the domestic box office while it has minted $7.34M (Rs. 52 cr) in the overseas market in its opening weekend.
