Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer magnum opus 'Syeraa Narasimha Reddy' directed by Surrender Reddy hit the screens worldwide on October 2. The hugely anticipated film has grossed Rs. 81+ cr worldwide on its opening day. In the Telugu states the film grossed Rs. 53 cr and earned a total share of Rs. 38.7 cr.

The film has emerged as the second highest opening day grosser in Andhra Pradesh / Telangana beating Saaho's record. Saaho had minted Rs. 36.5 cr (share) on its opening day. The film now holds the record for All-Time Top 2 highest grosser in Tollywood on Day 1 after Baahubali 2.

While Sye Raa managed to beat Saaho collections in Telugu states, the film however couldn't create the magic of the Prabhas starrer in Bollywood. Saaho earned Rs. 24+ cr in Hindi on its opening day but Sye Raa has earned only Rs. 2.6 cr nett in Hindi belts.

The film has performed well on Day 2 (Thursday) as well by minting around Rs. 10 cr (share). The total 2 days share stands at Rs. 48.7 cr. Sye Raa is the third highest grossing Telugu film at the worldwide box office after Baahubali 2 and Saaho.
