SSMB29 (tentative title) is an upcoming Telugu language adventure epic, co-written and directed by SS Rajamouli of Baahubali and RRR fame. SSMB29 stars Tollywood star Mahesh Babu in the lead, and is touted to be a 'globetrotting story' of an archaeologist with the traits of Hindu God Hanuman.

What happens when this 'globe trotter' sets out for an adventure in the lush jungles of both Amazon and parts of Africa, is what the SSMB29 movie is about. Marking Mahesh Babu's 50th birthday on August 9, 2025, an update on SSMB29 was shared both by the actor and the film's director. 

Mahesh Babu teased the first look of SSMB29 with a poster that said that the 'Globe Trotter' first reveal will be in November, 2025. SS Rajamouli further elaborated with the statement,

"Dear Cinema Lovers in India and around the world, as well as fans of Mahesh,

It has been a while since we began shooting, and we appreciate your eagerness to know about the film. However, the story and scope of this film are so vast that I feel mere pictures or press conferences cannot do it justice.

We are currently working on something to showcase the essence, depth, and immersive world we are creating. This will be unveiled in November 2025, and we are trying to make it a NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN reveal.

SS Rajamouli's frequent collaborator Vijayendra Prasad is the other writer of SSMB29. The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, among others. SSMB29 is produced by Narayana KL, and the film's technical crew includes Oscar winning MM Keeravani for music, and PS Vinod for cinematography.
