The sequel to 2018 hit film 'Satyameva Jayate' has been officially announced by the makers. John Abraham will be essaying the lead role in Satyameva Jayate 2. The film is directed by Milap Zaveri who helmed the first installment as well. Satyameva Jayate 2 is set to hit the screens on October 2, 2020 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi next year. 

Filmmaker Divya Khosla Kumar will return to acting with the sequel. The 2018 vigilante action drama which also featured Manoj Bajpayee as one of the leads was a commercial success at the Box Office. The sequel is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani.
