Vijay Devarakonda is one of the most happening and sought-after actors in Tollywood. Having tasted success as a hero, Vijay Devarakonda is all set to don the hat of a producer. He has started his own production banner named as 'The King of the Hill'.

Vijay made the announcement regarding his maiden production venture on social media through a hilarious video revealing the title of the film. He wrote, "While we were finding it painfully hard to break into the Industry and make a film, I decided.. The day I make it, I'll start a production house..I realise how hard it is to do this and how risky but what is life without a challenge, so with most of my savings on the line I reveal to you King Of The Hill's 1st Production Title!"

The film titled Meeku Maathrame Cheptha marks the debut of director Tharun Bhascker Dhassyam as the lead actor. Vijay and Tharun Bhascker have earlier worked together in National Award-winning film Pelli Choopulu (2016). ‘Maaya’ fame Avantika Mishra plays the leading lady opposite Tharun Bhascker.
