Salman Khan, who traditionally owns the Eid release date, had locked Eid 2020 for his upcoming film, Inshallah. Starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, the film will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Salman Khan has now announced on his social media page that Inshallah released has been postponed. He wrote, "The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!"

However, the 'Dabangg' actor has retained the Eid 2020 date for his another film and the announcement regarding the same is expected soon. Inshallah, marks the reuniion of Salman Khan with Bhansali after a long gap of twenty years. will hit the screens for Eid 2020. Both last worked together on Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which released in the year 1999. 

Inshallah, touted be a modern day love story where Salman will be reportedly seen playing a businessman. The pre-production work of the film is happening in full swing.
