After teasing the audience with the film's teaser, Sanjay Dutt unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming film 'Prasthanam' on social media and tweeted, "Earn the legacy... virasat se nahi, kabiliyat se! #Prasthanam in cinemas on 20th September 2019." Sanjay Dutt essays the role of Baldev Pratap Singh.

 Prasthanam is a Hindi remake of Telugu film of the same name. The film produced by Maanayata Dutt has been directed by Deva Katta, who directed the original version as well. Manisha Koirala, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, Ali Faizal, and Amyra Dastur play pivotal roles in the film. Prasthanam is set to hit the theatres on September 20, 2019.
