Ranarangam starring Sharwanand, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles is gearing up for release on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day. The makers are planning to release the trailer of the film on August 4. Director Sudheer Varma shared the poster announcing the Trailer release date on his Twitter page. He tweeted, "#RanarangamTrailer in 3 days! #RanarangamOn15thAug"

The trailer will be launched by director Trivikram Srinivas in a grand launch event to be held at Kakinada. The gangster drama will chronicle the life of a gangster (essayed by Sharwanand) during the 90s to the present day and how he evolves and changes with time. Sharwanand will sport two different looks in the film. Produced by Suryadeva Naga Vamsi, the techncial team includes cinematography by Divakar Mani and editing by Navin Nooli.
