Telugu actor Rana Daggubati will be now a part of Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi’s biopic on world class cricketer Muthaiah Muralidharan as he jointly produces the film along with Suresh Productions and Dar Motion Pictures. The news was officially confirmed through the horse’s mouth – Rana Daggubati himself as he wrote on his twitter page, “Suresh Productions and I are proud to be associated with Dar films in telling the story of a legend thru a legendary actor. #VijaySethupathi as #MuttiahMuralidharan soon!! @SureshProdns #DAR” (Sic). 

Written and directed by M.S. Sripathy, the film will be made in Tamil and simultaneously dubbed in several regional and International languages. Talks are going on with prominent Pan-Indian actors and technicians to be a part of this film and these production houses will likely start making announcements shortly in time.
