Following the humongous success of KGF Chapter 1, the sequel to the film titled KGF Chapter 2 is progressing at a brisk pace. The makers have roped in Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the main protagonist and he plays the character Adheera. After revealing the character name through a poster, the makers have now released the first look of Sanjay Dutt as "Adheera" on the occasion of the actor's birthday today.

The production house Homebale Films had tweeted, "Here Comes #MotherOfAllCollisions, @duttsanjay as #Adheera. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Sir. #SanjayDuttAsAdheera in #KGFChapter2"

The film marks Sanjay Dutt's debut in the south film industry. Starring Sandalwood superstar Yash, the film traces the rags to riches journey of Rocky (Yash) and his quest for power in the Kolar Gold Fields of Karnataka. Yash has earlier said that the second part is going to be bigger than the first chapter in terms of budget and stunts. 

KGF Chapter 2 features an ensemble cast, which includes Srinidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Anant Nag, Nassar, Archana Jois, Vasishta Simha, Malvika Avinash, and Ramchandra Raju. It also stars Raveena Tandon in an important role. The film directed by Prashanth Neel had collected over Rs 200 crore and it marks highest grossing Kannada film of all time. Just like the first film, KGF  Chapter 2, made in Kannada, will be dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
