Director Suseenthiran’s upcoming film Kennedy Club gets censored with ‘U’ certificate and the official announcement regarding the theatrical release will be made shortly. The film is reported to be based on the real life inspirations from the Kabbadi club that is owned by Suseenthiran’s father.

The story is about how a coach (played by Sasikumar) strives to train his women Kabbadi team and make them win a particular tournament. The film is bankrolled by Suseenthiran’s brother Thai Saravanan, which has an ensemble star-cast including Bharathiraja, Samuthirakani, Gayathrie, Soori and many new faces. While D. Imman is composing music for this film, cinematography is handled by R.B. Gurudev.
