Kangana Ranaut who is awaiting the release of her upcoming film Judgementall Hai Kya which is set to hit the screens on July 26, recently made an announcement regarding her next film titled Dhaakad. The makers have unveiled the first look poster of the film in which the leading lady Kangana Ranaut is seen in a fierce avatar. She looks intense as a fighter with machine guns and blood marks.

After attempting action for the first time in Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, this will be Kangana's second action film. The action-thriller film is set to be directed by Razneesh Ghai, which will be jointly produced by Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum Films and co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media. The film will hit the screens on Diwali 2020. The film is set to go on floors by early 2020 and will be shot in Thailand, Budapest and Prague and North India. An action director from Hollywood will choreograph the elaborate action sequences.

Talking about her role in Dhaakad, Kangana earlier said in a statement, “After the success of Manikarnika, it has been proven that audience across the globe are loving larger than life films with a female hero. Dhaakad is not only a benchmark film for my career but will be a turning point for Indian cinema as well. The film is mounted on a large scale, is one of a kind female led action film, and is apt for a Diwali release. If it is received well, there will be no looking back for women in Indian Cinema.”
