Jayam Ravi's Comali has Kajal Aggarwal playing female lead and K.S. Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Samyukta Hegde among others in important roles. The latest update about the film is that the makers have decided to release the film for independence day weekend, i.e on August 15, 2019.

Jayam Ravi will be seen in nine different looks in the film, some of which include a caveman, a King, a slave from the British era, a 90s retro look among others. Music is by Hip Hop Tamizha and the movie is directed by Pradeep Ranganathan.
