Mehreen Pirzada who was last seen in the Telugu film F2 recently landed onto a bigger project in Tamil. With the actress being signed to play the female lead opposite Dhanush in his upcoming film, Mehreen unravels the actual reason for getting roped into the project. It seems that the makers of Dhanush’s film were pretty much impressed with her performance in F2 and felt that she would look perfect for the female lead. In addition, both the roles do share the ‘fun’ factor similarities, which made her the absolute choice here.

Tentatively titled as Production No.34, the film has Dhanush in lead character with Telugu actor Naveen Chandra playing the antagonist. The first schedule of this film has been wrapped up in Pollachi and the second one is slated to resume from July 11, 2019. Vivek-Mervin duo is composing music for this film, which is directed by Kodi fame Durai Senthil Kumar and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films.

It is worth mentioning that Mehreen Pirzada actually made her debut in Kollywood through Suseenthiran’s Nenjil Thunivirundhal; the portions involving her were however completely deleted by the director, in accordance to the reviews citing that they hampered the film’s engrossment.
