Kabir Singh Day 17 Collection: Shahid Kapoor's movie beats Kick, Chennai Express lifetime records

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's latest outing Kabir Singh directed by Sandeep Vanga is doing wonders at the Box Office in its third week. The film which hit a double century on its 13th day has earned Rs. 235.72 cr in 17 days. It has beaten lifetime records of Kick and Chennai Express.

 

The film has been declared a blockbuster already and is all set to become the highest grossing film of 2019 beating Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba (Rs. 240.31 cr) and Vicky Kaushal's Uri (Rs. 244 cr). Taran Adarsh shared the box office numbers of the film on his Twitter page.

The film has minted Rs. 22.52 cr in its third weekend cruising past the lifetime collection of Salman Khan's Kick (Rs 231.85 crore) and Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express (Rs 227.13 crore). Kabir Singh crossed Rs. 200 cr mark in the shortest time period of 13 days compared to Salman Khan's Bharat which took 14 days. Kabir Singh is Shahid Kapoor's biggest solo hit, though Padmaavat is still the biggest hit of his career.
