We had reported a while ago that Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (D 16) director Karthick Naren will be teaming up with Arun Vijay for a movie to be bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The same was made official today and the first look poster of the film, which has been titled Mafia was released. 

From the looks of it, Mafia - Chapter 1 seems to be an action thriller, for Arun Vijay is seen holding a card which is indicative of him being part of an operation named 'Viper' and in search of an unknown target who is at the top of the operation's hit-list. The actor has been part of some interesting projects off late and this seems like another addition to the same.

Mafia also stars Prasanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar among others and has Jakes Bejoy for music, Gokul Benoy for cinematography and Sreejith Sarang for edits.
