Director Arun Prabhu Purushothaman who made a splash with one of 2016's biggest hit Aruvi, is back with his second dilm Vaazhl, the first look of which was released on Thursday. The film whose shooting is currently in progress seems to be almost over for the director has confirmed that they plan to wrap the film soon.

He has also said that like Aruvi, Vaazhl will be a mixed genre like Aruvi and feature new faces in it. Vaazhl is produced by Arun Prabhu's cousin and actor Sivakarthikeyan and its technical crew includes Pradeep Kumar for music, Shelley Calist for cinematography and Raymond Derrick for the edits; The same crew had worked on Aruvi too.
