The release of Sonakshi Sinha's upcoming film Khandaani Shafakhana has been pushed to August. The film which was initially slated for release on July 26 will now hit the screens on August 2, 2019. The film will now avert a clash with Kangana Ranuat and Rajkummar Rao's Mental Hai Kya and Diljit Dosanjh's Arjun Patiala at the box office which are slated for release on July 26.

Khandaani Shafakhana marks the debut of rapper Badshah in Bollywood. The film's cast also includes veteran actor Annu Kapoor and Varun Sharma. Directed by Shilpi Dasgupta, the film is jointly produced by T-Series and Mrighdeep Lamba.
