It has been a while since actor Sivakarthikeyan's 17th film, tentatively dubbed SK 17 was announced by production giant Lyca Productions. The movie which is said to be technology-based, is currently in the news for its female lead.

Buzz is that actress Kiara Advani who will next be seen in the Bollywood remake of Arjun Reddy has been approached to play Sivakarthikeyan's heroine and an official announcement on the same is expected to be made soon. The Bollywood actress has previously worked in the South in Telugu movies such as Bharat Ane Nenu (Mahesh Babu) and Vinaya Vidhaya Rama (Ram Charan).

SK 17 is a Vignesh ShivN directorial and will have Anirudh for music.
